Mead Lumber , founded in 1910, is the leading provider of building materials to professional contractors and remodelers. We have 54 locations across 9 Midwestern states. Primary responsibility is to drive company vehicles to deliver merchandise to customer jobsites and physically unload the materials to the customer's satisfaction. Help load and unload trucks, put merchandise away, clean up yard. Responsibilities & Duties:
Learn company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
Load and unload trucks according to the list of materials on the sales invoice.
Delivers and unloads materials to customer's satisfaction and on a timely basis.
Maintain inspection of each vehicle you drive for safe driving.
Accurately record all merchandise returns on a credit memo.
Listen and work with customers to solve customer needs.
Stock products and keep shelving tidy.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a good driving record.
Must be able to operate a forklift.
Ability to drive a manual transmission.
Desire to learn and grow professionally.
Be self-motivated and productive.
Physical strength to lift and carry 75 pounds.
