About the location:A luxury Oahu resort on the island's sunny Western Coast. Join us in Ko Olina and find your very own place of joy. Our beachfront island Resort sits on Oahu’s wild and rugged western coast, where vast ocean views and lively pools and lagoons provide the setting for an unforgettable adventure. Take the family for a ride on an outrigger canoe, splash around in the turquoise waters of our white-sand beach, play a round of golf as you weave through waterfalls at Ko Olina Golf Club, or spend the day reconnecting with your inner self at Naupaka Spa & Wellness Centre.
Basic PurposeProvide guests with a full service arrival and departure experience. Welcome all incoming and outgoing guests, assist with luggage, safely park guest vehicle in hotel or local garage and make necessary deliveries and pick-ups to and from guest rooms. Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer service and satisfaction.
Hourly Rate: $18
Essential Functions
  • Park arriving and retrieve departing guest’s vehicles safely while adhering to all company and government traffic regulations and Resort Garage Parking Policy. Assess any damage and clearly note damage on claim ticket along with location of parked vehicle. (25%)
  • Deliver and pick up luggage to and from guests room and maintain detailed records of all luggage, room and amenity deliveries. (15%)
  • Greet all arriving guests with amenity and escort or guide guests to the front desk and introduce them to the Front Desk Agent. Greet and offer assistance to all guest passing through lobby. (10%)
  • Provide a safe and comfortable ride for resort guests. Assure limo and house car are in good repair and stocked with necessary amenities. Maintains appropriate log, noting guests who were transported and the details of their transportation. Strong knowledge of the city so guests can be transported to and from their destination in the shortest possible time. (10%)
  • Provides guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions. Arrange for taxis or resort vehicle transportation as needed. (10%)
  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, etc. (15%)
  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in OhanaPact. (5%)
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, supervisors, and outside contacts. (5%)
  • Perform errands for guests and the resort that may require local travel off property. (5%)
Non-Essential Functions
  • Provides a high level of cleanliness on the driveway and resort entrance.
  • Assists with all responsibilities and duties of the Guest Services Department during high volume and in the absence of colleagues.
Knowledge And SkillsEducation: High School education or equivalent experience.
Experience: Experience required by position is three (3) months to one (1) full year of employment in a related position with Four Seasons or other organizations.
Skills and Abilities: Able to read, write and speak English.

Hours required: Eight or ten hour shift; scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
Environment Physical Job Requirements(for essential functions only)
Lifting/Pushing/Pulling/Carrying
  • 20% of shift pulling luggage carts with weight of up to 200 pounds.
  • Cart may be pulled up to the length of a full city block.
  • Lift boxes up to 100 pounds and carries them for up to 15 feet.
Bending/Kneeling
  • 20% of shift bending/kneeling to pick up luggage or boxes on to cart.
Mobility
  • 100% of shift.
  • Must be able to walk up to a full city block to get to the guest room.
  • Must be able to walk to cars, open car doors, greet guests.
Continuous Standing
  • 100% of shift continuous standing.
Climbing
  • Stairs: Up to approx. 40 steps, 20% of 8-10 hour shift depending on assigned area.
  • Ladders: None
Driving
  • 20% of shift depending on assigned area.
  • Driving cars to and from garage
  • Traveling on city streets
Work Environment
  • Inside: 1%
  • Outside: 99%
  • Subject to all weather conditions; including: sun, wind, and rain.
  • Temperatures range seasonally from the low 70’s up to 90’s with humidity up to 80%.
  • Wind gusts up to 25 miles per hour.
Chemicals/Agents
  • 10% cleaning fluids used to wipe down Guest Service Area Desk, equipment, carts, house car etc.

  • Resort cart, House car and 12 seat passenger van.
  • Guest Vehicles, must be able to operate automatic and manual transmission.
