Essential Functions

• Provides fast and flawless service to every customer.
• Provides friendly service to every customer.
• Cleans ash urns, vacuums carpet areas, cleans slot machines, polishes furniture and other bright areas.
• Properly uses cleaning equipment and chemicals to ensure safety.
• Performs laundry / linen receipt.
• Cleans and monitors customer and employee bathrooms.
• Empties garbage on casino floor and other back of house areas.
• Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.
• Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
• Completes all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS :

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Some knowledge of proper chemical usage preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible shift to include nights, holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling customer needs and concerns.
• Must be a team player.

JOB DEMANDS :

• Lifts up to a maximum of 35 pounds and frequently lifts and / or carries up to 25 pounds.
• Position requires 35% standing, 5% sitting, 60% walking.
• Requires frequent kneeling, stooping, reaching over head and very frequent bending, pushing, twisting and climbing.
• Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino and remote-buildings.
• Must be able to read, understand and tolerate the usage of cleaning chemicals.
• Must have the manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment and machines.
• Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
• Requires the ability to respond to speech, touch, smell, aural and visual cues.

Schedule :

Swing : 2 : 30pm - 11pm

Graves : 10 : 30pm -7am
