Job Title: Paralegal- Real Estate

Job Location: Johnston, RI - This is for a part time, as needed paralegal (real estate).

Duration: 4-month contract

Your duties will include:

• Managing Real Estate contract inflow from Citizens’ procurement group
• Creating initial drafts of form agreements and other documents for review by attorneys
• Formatting, proofreading, and assisting with the review of documents.
• Updating and maintaining Real Estate contract templates
• Interfacing with the real estate group and other departments to collect information, respond to requests, and manage workflow.
• Working daily with internal systems (e.g., Ariba) and other technology to complete tasks
• Performing other duties for attorneys, including scheduling meetings, distributing information, and managing routine correspondence
• Providing general administrative support to attorneys and assisting on special projects and initiatives

• Excellent word processing skills including the ability to properly format complex contracts (including, but not limited to, multi-level lists (auto-numbering), Tables of Contents, multiple Sections within the same contract, Excel formulas, etc.)
• Experience working on real estate transactions, required.
• Experience redlining contracts and properly maintaining version control.
• Experience working with Ariba (or other contract management software) preferred but not required.
• Experience conducting database searches and generating reports.

Qualifications
Education/Professional Credentials:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 5 years as a Paralegal in a corporate or law firm environment
• A Paralegal degree or certification is a plus but is not required.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
