Electrical/Electronic Test Engineer

Client is seeking an experiencedElectrical Test Engineer. The selected individual will work with our engineering team and subject matter experts to plan, prepare, conduct, and report characterization and/or qualification testing of semiconductor devices and circuits in radiation environments.

The test engineer will analyze and interpret test data and prepare technical reports for use by engineering, management, and customer personnel. Desired experience: test circuit development for analog and digital devices and using industry standard design tools, experience bench top testing and analysis of semiconductor devices, circuits, and systems, and familiarity with standard semiconductor test equipment to include power supplies, meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, FPGA-based measurement instrumentation, etc. Hands on experience with formal problem solving and failure analysis tools and techniques at the piece-part/circuit board level a plus. This position will allow the candidate to gain knowledge of semiconductor physics, radiation effects on semiconductor devices to include knowledge of radiation effects (TID, ELDRS, SEE, etc.) and experience using radiation simulators.

Experience working inthe Defense (DoD), military, aerospace or government industries is preferred.

Education Requirements:

BS or MS Electrical Engineering (or Electrical Engineering Technology) with 5-10 years experience.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

* Experience in test circuit development for analog and digital devices

* Experience in modeling and simulation of circuits using tools such as SPICE and TCAD.

* Experience in bench top testing and analysis of semiconductor devices, circuits, and systems.

* Create reports based on test results.
