We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing alarm systems in commercial settings.
Responsibilities:
- Install and program alarm systems according to blueprints and design specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on alarm systems to ensure proper functionality
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty alarm systems promptly
- Conduct system inspections and testing to identify issues
- Provide technical support to customers on system operation
- Collaborate with the sales team on alarm system recommendations
Skills:
- Experience in construction inspection or field service
- Proficiency as a service technician in alarm system sales
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and power tools
- Familiarity with fire alarm systems and operation
- Competence in blueprint reading for system installation
- Understanding of alarm system design principles
- Certified Fire Alarm Technician (CFAT) or NICET II required
