Industrial Controls Technician Job Description-
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for calibrating, maintaining, and repairing industrial, and related equipment.
Qualifications:
Thorough understanding and knowledge of electrical componentry.
Experience in assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical machinery.
Experience reading electrical prints.
Ability to read electrical drawings.
Basic electrical knowledge and safety
Experience with motors and drives.
Experience with PLC’s (Siemens/Allen Bradley/Yaskawa) and programming software.
Experience with mechanical drives and compressed gases.
Self-motivated, capable of effectively working on multiple projects at a time.
Well-rounded and personable individual.
Must be able to stand and lift/carry 55lbs, climb ladders, work in hot and dirty environments.
Responsibilities:
Help design, assemble, and repair process and facility equipment.
Field wiring machines and electrical components.
Build and wiring of control panels.
Support manufacturing by resolving issues that may arise during assembly and testing.
Perform troubleshooting, installing, inspecting, maintaining, operating, repairing, and calibrating various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic equipment.
Education/Experience:
5 years of experience
Associates of Applied Science in Electrical Technologies, Advanced Manufacturing, or similar technical degree.
