Job Title: Superintendent - Commercial General Contractor

Location: Houston, TX

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join the dynamic team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Superintendent experience, with a strong background in managing commercial construction projects. Holding an OSHA 30 certification is required, demonstrating a dedication to safety protocols and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to maintain efficient workflow and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, quality of workmanship, and adherence to specifications and plans.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to ensure project milestones are met and any potential risks are addressed proactively.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • OSHA 30 certification is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
