We are hiring a Senior Design Engineer who will be responsible for Design and Engineering of Pressure Containing and Controlling Equipment at our Subsea location.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies/tools, and controls using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment
• Review and analyze drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed
• Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery
• Position instructions and comments onto drawings
• Design scale or full-size drawings of new specialty equipment
• Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to the raw materials
• Lay out and draw schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines
• Use of design software to develop models and manufacturing drawings for the new products and existing products
• Use of engineering product data management and manufacturing data system.
• Use of MS-Office and Company’s email
• New product development and identify associated risk by performing risk analysis.
• Identify the scope for the design improvement on available products
• Supervise and implement manufacturing process design during development

• Selection of materials and processes
• Development of prototype models for product validation testing.
• Maintenance of engineering records and design files.
• Supervise designers/drafters and coordinate with engineering team.
• Update development status and activities to immediate supervisor and Management.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 2 – 3 Year work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 5 – 6 Year work experience.
