Job Description :

Working with a national energy trading & transportation company who are looking for a senior gas scheduler / cash trader responsible for maintaining natural gas schedules to ensure the efficient and reliable transportation of gas through pipelines. Your duties will include coordinating with pipeline operators, analyzing market conditions, and managing scheduling changes to optimize gas flow and minimize risks across the South Region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain daily and monthly natural gas schedules in accordance with pipeline capacity and contractual obligations.
• Execute and manage nominations, confirmations, imbalances, and other similar activities related to the purchase and sale of natural gas on various natural gas pipelines in the South of the L48 (e.g. TETCO, Transco, TGP, CGT, ANR, HPL
• Monitor and analyze pipeline constraints, capacity availability, and operational disruptions to optimize gas flow and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with trading counterparts and market participants to execute gas trades and manage counterparty relationships.
• Track the movement of all physical gas transactions and maintain an internal overview showing the contractual movements of gas, storage changes, and imbalances

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 7 years of related experience , with 2-5 years of natural gas scheduling experience across L48 South Pipes
• Proven computer skills with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and ETRM Systems (including ENDUR)
