Position Overview

As a Sales Leasing Professional at Ashford Communities, you will be the face and voice of our company. Your primary goal will be to attract and retain residents who are as vibrant and unique as our community. From conducting property tours to assisting with lease agreements, your role will be crucial in ensuring our residents feel welcomed, valued, and excited to call Ashford Communities home. The rewarding feeling of helping residents find their new homes and contributing to their comfort and safety will bring you a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction in your work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Conduct property tours with prospective residents, showcasing our communities' unique features and amenities.

- Assist prospective residents in the leasing process, from initial inquiry to lease signing, providing exceptional customer service throughout the process.

- Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective residents, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

- Collaborate with the property management team to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to attract new residents.

- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor analysis to position Ashford Communities as a premier and economical choice for prospective residents.

- Coordinate and host monthly happy hours and resident events, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among our residents.

Skills to be Successful

- Excellent communication and people skills with a flair for building meaningful connections.

- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality with the ability to captivate and engage others.

- Strong sales skills and the ability to close deals effectively.

- Meticulous with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Proficient in using leasing software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.

- Natural desire to be competitive, initiative-taking and have a high level of GRIT to stay passionate, motivated, and engaged

- Influenced by the ability to not only serve our residents but by the ability to have additional earning potential based on new leases you obtain.

Experience Preferred

- Previous sales experience!

- Bilingual in both English & Spanish – plus!

- Previous experience in leasing, preferably in the multifamily property management industry.

- Familiarity with property management software and CRM systems.

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
