WORK from home ONE day each week for a nationally recognized law firm with a growing Houston office. Our client is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant with excellent tenure to support 2 defense litigation partners. Primary Responsibilities

• Prepares, reviews, and edits various legal documents and correspondence.
• Maintains attorney docket and calendars upcoming deadlines.
• Manages and coordinates attorney calendars, meetings, telephone conferences, and events meetings.
• Assists attorneys with depositions, witness preparation, preparing exhibits, briefs, and motions as needed.
• Acts as a liaison between assigned attorney(s) and clients, as well as internal departments and external affiliates.
• Maintains a filing system; opens and closes files.
• Prepares client intake forms.
• Coordinates travel arrangements and prepares itineraries.
• Provides administrative support for the process flow of all legal invoices.
• Prepares and processes check requests and expense reports.
• Manages all incoming and outgoing mail, e-mail, faxes and phone calls in a confidential, organized and efficient manner.
