We are a diverse institution located in the Texas Medical Center seeking a Certified Yoga Instructor with evening availability beginning in August/September. We are looking to restart our group fitness program with a variety of class formats including: strength, dance-fitness and yoga. As far as yoga, we prefer an all-level vinyasa flow.

Ideal candidates are:

• Enthusiastic about yoga and enjoy creating and delivering new, fresh and innovative sequences.
• Confident in your professionalism by reporting on-time with a positive attitude and a passion to motivate others
• A professional who is collaborative and a flexible leader

Qualified candidates must possess all of the following:

• Current nationally accredited yoga certification
• Current CPR/AED certification (We will certify, if needed!)

Salary: Begins at $35 per class and may increase depending on experience.

Important Information: Instructors will begin as an Independent Contractor (1099-MISC) until earning $1200 in the fiscal year. To continue, instructors will likely need to become a UTHealth employee (W-2.)
