Agency Social Worker
Full-Time
$23.00 to $25.00 an hour
An Agency Social Worker has to have a Master's Degree in either Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology.
The job description includes, but is not limited to: seeking the foster children on a weekly basis; speaking with the foster parents and visiting the foster home, on a monthly basis to assess basic-needed requirements, such as water, lights, and gas, as well as the provision of appropriate clothing, and bedding for the foster children.
The Social Worker will also ensure that the foster children have appropriate and necessary medical, dental, and vision appointments, monitor visitation with the biological family; and write weekly case notes and quarterly reports to document care and progress.
Additionally, the Social Worker will interact with County Social Workers every week and be responsible for after-hours cell phone duties and responsibilities.
