Medical Transport (NEMT) is looking for a dynamic, collaborative, adaptable Supervisor for the Dispatch team.
Responsibilities include system status management, planning, and oversight of Transport vans, deployment, supervision of a team of Dispatchers and Call Takers, staffing duties, dispatch policy and protocol development, data entry and reporting, obtaining pre-authorizations, software management, and other non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) compliance functions. A supervisor may be required to fill in for Dispatcher and Call Taker shifts and may occasionally support field operations for critical needs. The Supervisor will be the staff to create a cohesive, highly effective, and safe environment for patients and staff members.
Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• An associate’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Experience

• 2 Plus years of experience dispatching emergency services or commercial NEMT required.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Driver.
• A valid driver’s license.
• A clean driving record.
• Minimum visual acuity corrected to 20/50.
• Familiarity with GPS devices.
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods.
• Ability to lift heavy weights.
• Availability to occasionally take the weekend.
• A polite and professional disposition.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations. (e.g. at rush hour)
• A high school diploma.
