We have a pharmacy technician opportunity to work on a PRN basis at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville, GA. Candidates must be available at least 2 days per week (Monday-Friday) to be considered for this PRN position. Anticipate being scheduled an average of 1-3 days per month. Cross training required for hospital and retail pharmacies. Hospital pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm; retail pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday 9:30am - 5:00pm.

Job Description:

Assists the pharmacist in providing medication, drug information, and pharmaceutical services to patients, nurses, physicians and other hospital personnel. Receives and stores incoming deliveries of medication and supplies. Demonstrates an ability to calculate figures and amounts relating to dosage calculations when filling various prescriptions ranging from the newborn to the elderly populations. Maintains inventory of supplies in pharmacy and other departments and reorders them accordingly.
