About the role
The Finance team at Ocado is an integral part of the company, providing business partnering, insight and reporting & analysis on performance. You will be working closely with various departments around Ocado, principally the OIA core team and across the various Commercial & Group Finance teams:
A key member of the OIA Finance team providing financial support across OIA and provide key business insight to the senior management teams and stakeholders.
The OIA commercial finance team is currently very small (5 roles including this one).
You will report into the Senior Finance Manager and will provide financial support across the OIA business.The main focus will be on helping to improve financial insights. modelling and key financial processes for the OSRS business. This role will need to work closely with the OIA core teams on new OSRS deal modelling, pricing analysis and other ad hoc financial support for the OIA team.
Accountabilities

• Providing value adding financial insight, support and challenge to the OIA core team by building effective working relationships including Senior Managers
• Work closely and build an effective relationship with the OIA team to provide value adding insight and financial advice
• Improve financial insights and key financial processes for the OSRS business to ensure greater visibility of performance, including identifying key risks and opportunities facing the business
• Assist in the Budget and Forecast processes for OIA. Reviewing fees, revenue and costs to provide a healthy challenge; understand key drivers of performance
• Continually identify and implement improvements to business processes to increase efficiency and ensure costs are recorded accurately in the accounts. Challenge and review results to seek opportunities to increase income/reduce costs and risks
• Maintain and enhance financial controls ensuring accuracy and robustness of reporting and continue to develop reporting for the OIA business

About you

• Qualified CIMA / ACA/ ACCA accountant
• Experience of reporting period management accountant, analysis and commentary
• Experience of budgeting and forecast
• Strong skills in the use of Google Sheets
• Candidates must be able to prioritise and have a flexible approach, responding to the changing nature of Ocado in a timely manner
