Description
The Bilingual Customer Service Representative provides support by responding to inquiries, processing documentation of freight delivery or shipment and interacting with customer and other service providers in a prompt, courteous and effective manner. This position works closely with the warehouse team and assists with other general office duties as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs general administrative duties including correspondence, filing, copying, data entry, and creating reports in Excel.
- Monitors and authorizes entrance of drivers and directs them to specific locations according to established procedures, maintaining the security of the premises.
- Assists in documenting goods received by scanning bar codes and forwarding the information to inventory control specialists to provide proof of delivery.
- Enters inventory data into WMS system to provide accurate records of inventory.
- Assists by scanning and printing bills of lading for outbound truck drivers.
- Maintains filing process and systems.
- Consistently in contact with customer.
- Creates and runs ad hoc reports for Operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent, college experience a plus Experience
- One year previous work experience in a related position or industry
- Intermediate level of knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
- Intermediate level of knowledge of database management
- Advanced level of knowledge of Excel
- General knowledge of ISO Quality and Environmental Requirements
- Excellent skills in multitasking, prioritizing, processing information quickly, and organization
- Excellent skills at handling confidential information
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Good data entry
- Basic skills in written communication Customer Service Representative
- Handle multiple priorities which are constantly changing and may conflict
- Manage time effectively
