**Manager Retail/Specialty Pharmacy - Pharmacist In Charge, Pharmacy, Full Time, 80 hours Biweekly**

Under the general direction of the Executive Director of Pharmacy Services, manages the daily pharmacy operations and staff, including interpreting physicians prescriptions and compounds, dispensing medications within regulatory guidelines, consulting with customers regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions, and handling complex problem resolution. Includes Budgetary responsibility for the pharmacy operation. Must maintain compliance with all federal, state, pharmacy, and organizational regulations and policy.

Education Doctor of Pharmacy Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. MBA preferred.

Experience Minimum of 3 years experience in outpatient/retail pharmacy setting. At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification Maryland Pharmacist license required OR eligibility to obtain licensure. Pharmacists pending Maryland licensure through reciprocation must obtain their Maryland Pharmacist License within 4 months of their date of hire. For newly graduated pharmacists pending Maryland licensure, they must obtain Maryland licensure within 4 months of their graduation date or their date of hire, whichever is later. Pharmacists pending Maryland licensure must work under the supervision of a Maryland Licensed pharmacist and cannot perform pharmacist acts until licensed.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needs good communication skills both oral/written. Must be able to work quickly and accurately under both time and volume constraints. Must have strong leadership skills, decision making capability and, interpersonal skills. Must have analytical/mathematical skills along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to interact with customers and handle conflict-resolution effectively. Must have proficiency with Microsoft, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
