Sapphire at Gresham Post-Acute & Rehab is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Near Gresham, OR
$46 - $50 per hour (DOE)
$4,000 Sign-on Bonus

Sapphire at Gresham is the first Skilled Nursing facility in Oregon to have a ventilation assistance program! Our newly renovated, dedicated Respiratory Care Unit provides a person-centered approach to caring for our residents. All staff receive specialized training approved by the state board.
JOB SUMMARY:
A Registered Nurse (RN) working in our Vent unit of our Skilled Nursing facility will provide day to daynursing care for ventilator supported residents while working to maximizetheir quality of life. This position will assist in the supervision of other healthcare workers including CNA's, CMA's and LPN's. Ventilator, trach care and vent settings will be managed by RT staff 24 hours a day along with RN PRN support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide primary care toresidents in our Vent Unit
- Skills such as: wound care, enteral feeding, line care, diabetic management
- Obtain and administerprescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursingtechniques
- Ensure residents' chart iscurrent
- Assess resident for change ofcondition
- A Registered Nurse (RN) will assist with new resident admissionprocess
- Keep residents' family andphysician informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications, orconditions of health
- Communicate needs of residentto outside providers including but not limited to: Primary Care Provider, HomeHealth Agency, Pharmacy, etc
- Complete incident andaccident investigation in collaboration with other clinical personnel
- Other Duties as Assigned
- Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the State of practice
- At least 1 years of Vent/Trach experience
