Valley Medical Group is looking for a Healthcare Recruiter to join our team and work in our Greenfield Health Center. If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity!

Position: Healthcare Recruiter

Location: Greenfield, MA

Hours: 32 hours, Monday-Friday generally between 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Hours may vary depending on department needs. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview.

As a Healthcare Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier healthcare professionals. You will collaborate closely with department heads and HR partners to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Your expertise will ensure we build a talented and dedicated workforce committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing: Identifies and sources targeted candidates using a variety of creative and effective recruitment methods. Reviews CVs/applications, and phone screens all candidates to determine quality and fit for the organization
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify qualified candidates. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Collaborates with the HR manager and staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Maintains a candidate tracking worksheet/ database reflecting documentation of positions open, interviews scheduled, conversation had, offers made or not made, offers accepted or not accepted, reasons for offers declined. Collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.
  • Tracks and verifies all invoices and funds spent on external recruitment resources; including but not limited to, job postings, ad placements and third-party placement fees. Analyzes effectiveness of advertising and resources used.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical industry and the ability to recruit within highly competitive industries, for a variety of roles within the organization.
  • Experience developing recruitment plans, sourcing strategies, resume evaluation, candidate selection and assisting management with selection techniques and methodologies preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruiting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other related software.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other related software.
  • Previous experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
