Greeley Country Club, a prestigious private members country club, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Food and Beverage to lead our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hospitality management with a strong focus on the steps of service and a passion for delivering exceptional member experiences. This is a leadership role for proactive hospitality professionals, not an entry-level position.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Service Excellence:**
- Oversee all food and beverage operations to ensure the highest standards of service are consistently delivered.
- Implement and uphold the club’s standards for steps of service, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience for members and guests.
2. **Leadership and Team Management:**
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of food and beverage professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance service skills and product knowledge.
3. **Operational Oversight:**
- Manage all aspects of the food and beverage operations including dining services, banquets, and special events.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, club policies, and industry standards.
4. **Member Relations:**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with club members, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement member-focused programs and events.
5. **Financial Management:**
- Develop and manage the food and beverage budget, ensuring financial goals and objectives are achieved.
- Monitor and control costs while maintaining quality and service standards.
6. **Menu Development:**
- Work closely with the culinary team to create and update menus that reflect current trends and member preferences.
- Ensure the highest quality of food and beverage offerings.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role within a high-end hospitality or private club environment.
- Strong background in hospitality management with a focus on steps of service.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance.
- A proactive and innovative approach to service and operations.
