- Graniteville, SC, US
- Provides input into the design for new or modified systems, processes or technologies.
- Serve as technical lead, planning and organizing portions of a project. Budget, manpower and equipment utliziation.
- Troubleshoot problems on existing systems, processes and technologies. Utilize available resources (other engineers, multi-skilled maintenance and operations teammates).
- Participate in monitoring and evaluating the performance of existing systems, processes and technologies and recommends modifications and enhancements to improve quality and/or efficiency.
- Approximately 80% of time is spent on the production floor, 10% working at desk on a computer, and 10% in meetings. The production floor environment requires working in high temperature, high noise levels (hearing protection required), and around moving equipment and heavy machinery.
- 3D modeling experience (Solid works, Inventor)
- Strong fundamental knowledge of hydraulic & conveying systems
- BS in Mechanical Engineering (BSEE) -Working with cross functional teams
