Job Description
Busy private Pediatric practice in Glendale is seeking a full-time Triage Assistant with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
This individual will work along side our Triage Nursing team.
Duties include but not limited to:
Submit/track referrals to specialists
Assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations
Obtain/attach lab results to EHR (electronic health record)
Answer phones
Schedule appointments
Communicate with physicians, patients, insurance companies, and community medical resource vendors
Special projects as assigned
Education:
Current CPR card
EHR experience preferred
Knowledge of Word and Excel preferred
Pediatric or Family Practice experience a plus
