We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and help us fulfill this mission.

Job Description: As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at 1776 Senior Care, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our clients. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our clients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, and providing companionship and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide mobility assistance, including transferring residents to and from beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by following infection control procedures.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive and caring atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the healthcare team.
• Document care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing staff.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a senior care or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and transferring residents.
