NESCO Resource is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Germantown, WI

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and testing products, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards. This role involves conducting regular inspections, documenting findings, and working closely with production teams to address quality issues.
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct inspections and tests on products, materials, and processes at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Proficient in reading and interpreting part drawings - Proficient knowledge and use of hand gages; Thread gage, Pin gage, Caliper, Bore Micrometer, Micrometer, Height Gage, Optical comparator - Receiving Inspection - Process Auditing - Handling of non-conforming material - Experience in working with ISO 9001 processes and procedures - Experience using Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, PDF, etc…
Minimum of 2 years' experience working as an inspector within the metal or plastics industries. PPAP and Gage Calibration experience.
Bonus characteristics: knowledge and experience in using and programming MicroVu, working knowledge on gage calibration and some experience with the PPAP process.
