Nature and Scope:
Assemble, tear down, reassemble, and rework complete gear boxes, assemblies, subassemblies, accessory units, and driven equipment.
Utilizing a working knowledge of turbomachinery products and working from operational paper, blueprints, written and/or oral instructions, or photographs. Disassemble and rebuild any Solar or customer turbomachinery product.
Balance, hone and drill/mill a variety of parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to Solar standards.
Change accessible filters and lubricate own machine tools as required.
Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related field.
Summary Pay Range:$48,935.00 - $73,403.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
