SUMMARY OF POSITION:

• Responsible for all saw cutting of structural materials.
• Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of saw. Responsible for local housekeeping of the saw area. Responsible to represent the company in a professional manner at all times and adhere to safety guidelines and handbook policies.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

(This position includes, but is not limited to the following duties and responsibilities) *

Duties:

• Accurately record time in ProfitFab for work performed.
• Accurately cut assigned jobs in a timely manner
• Understands the need for overtime at certain peak periods
• Cleaning and maintain local area around saw
• All other duties as assigned

Responsiblities:

• Know and apply the LaserCraft Quality Policy.
• Daily Maintenance and cleaning on the saw as required
• Adhere to all guidelines and safety regulations set forth in the Employee Handbook.
• Reports any material damage or discrepancies to Quality Department
• Understands the functions of saws ( set up, loading and operation)
• Knows the differences between material types, sizes and shapes

Authorities:

• To stop work and request additional information from Management, Sales or Customers.
• Initiate and Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions.
• Initiate NCR reports for any non-conformance.
• To stop the execution of any unsafe act or any act that violates the LaserCraft’s Safety program
• To control or limit access to the facility by anyone not employed by LaserCraft.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
