QUALIFICATIONS: (1) High School Diploma or GED; (2) Minimum of three (3) years experience in drafting and architectural design under the direction of an architect or engineer; or (3) An equivalent combination of training and experience. (4) Valid Florida Driver’s License.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of architectural drafting design. Skill in the use of drafting and related equipment. In depth knowledge of mathematics through trigonometry and its application to engineering computations. Ability to calculate quantities and materials estimates. Ability to read and interpret surveying notes, diagrams, specifications, and blueprints. Knowledge of construction methods, practices, and materials. Competent in state of the art computer-aided design. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school personnel, material suppliers, and construction personnel. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to operate a motor vehical.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.62 - $28.84 per hour
