This position is with a progressive, financially stable Hospital System.
Salary and Benefits
- Hourly Rate- $37.56 - $49.18 depending on experience
- Sign-on Bonus – $15,000 paid out right away

Responsibilities
- Conduct assessment of the assigned patient’s speech-language abilities during spontaneous conversation. Administer objective tests to assess the patient’s communication assets and liabilities.
- Structure and implement individualized patient programs to improve communication abilities.
- Evaluate the patient regularly during treatment and adjust the program as needed to maximize patient progress.
- Document progress in the patient’s chart. Complete notes, charges, discharge notes, and patient communication.
- Consult with the Program Director and Rehab Physician/Medical Director regarding pre-screen assessments and physician consultations to determine the appropriate placement of potential patients.
Requirements
- Acute Care experience preferred.
- Masters Degree Required
- Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) Licensed in the state of Florida Required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) – Required within 30 dates of start date.
