About The OpportunityAs an Endoscopic Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to efficient and high-quality patient care during endoscopic procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting gastroenterologists and other healthcare professionals by ensuring the smooth operation of the endoscopy department.
About The OpportunityAs an Endoscopic Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to efficient and high-quality patient care during endoscopic procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing the endoscopy suite for procedures, including gathering necessary instruments and ensuring equipment functionality.
- Assisting the endoscopist during procedures by handling instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating their needs.
- Providing patient care before, during, and after procedures, including patient positioning, monitoring vital signs, and addressing patient concerns.
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing endoscopes and other equipment according to strict protocols.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of procedures and equipment usage.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Endoscopic Technician or Surgical Scrub Tech.
- Upon Hire: Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- Upon Hire: Certification as a Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER).
- Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control principles.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
