Looking for a Project Engineer or an Assistant Project Manager that can provide assistant & administrative support for the Project Manager, and provides administrative support for the Project Superintendent. The Project Engineer will also analyze and monitor job costs, implement all applicable safety program, and manage preparation and execution of project closeout process.
Essential Functions:
· Project Start-up & Scheduling
· Manage & Execute RFIs & Submittals
· Analyze and monitor job costs and maintain accurate reports
· Construction Schedules
· Subcontracts and Purchase Orders
· Provide administrative support for the Project Superintendent
· Track, review, and process Change Management items
· Preparation and execution of the project closeout process
· Management
· Implement all applicable safety programs
· Promote Customer Relations
Experience
· 2 years of experience working for a general contractor as a Project Engineer
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
· Commercial/ Institutional construction background
· General knowledge of construction principles/processes required
· Proven commitment to Safety
· Building relationships with the Owner, Architects and Subcontractors is key.
· Experience managing Field Staff
· ProCore Project Management Experience
