Job Description: We are seeking dynamic and innovative Nurse Practitioners, or Physician Assistants to join our Pediatric Urgent Care team. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with medical directors and site physicians to deliver age-appropriate care under established protocols. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment initiation, and independent decision-making.

Position Status and Hour Requirement:

• Full-time: 30 patient contact hours per week
• Part-time: Approximately 20 patient contact hours per week
• PRN (As Needed Basis): Minimum four days availability per month

All roles necessitate availability for holidays, evening shifts, and weekends, along with a readiness to travel within your designated region to various clinics (refer to regions listed below).

• Houston (North, South, East, West): Full-time, part-time, PRN
• Austin: Full-time
• DFW East: Full-time
• DFW West: Full-time

• Urgent care experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency in medical Spanish is advantageous but not required
• Minimum two years of pediatric care experience, with at least one year in pediatric urgent care/emergency settings
• Active and unrestricted TX license, in good standing with respective board (physicians must have an active DEA certificate)
• Knowledge and experience in pediatric urgent care procedures ( e.g., laceration repair, fracture management, nursemaid elbow )
• Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA guidelines
• BLS certification (required) and PALS certification (may be obtained within 60 days of employment)
• Up-to-date documentation of Hepatitis B and Tetanus vaccinations
