Minimum Requirements
Education / Experience / Certification
¨ A Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related human services field from a four (4) year accredited college or university.
· Official transcripts are a mandatory requirement
¨ One (1) year experience working with children and families as an intern, volunteer or mentor is required
¨ Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships is also a must
¨ Current Child Welfare Certification (*CWCM, CWPI, CWLC or CW provisional) preferred
· While certification is preferred, attending child welfare certification class and passing the post-test if hired is required.
General Purpose of Job (Full job description will be provided upon interview)
To serve clients referred through Interstate Compact for the Placement of Children (ICPC) and Out of County Services (OCS). Individuals will be responsible for evaluating, coordinate, and ensuring that the necessary services and treatments are provided, complete required quarterly updates and complete ongoing documentation.
Certificates, License, Registrations, background checks, drug screens
Ø Valid driver’s license required, and clean driver’s license check is required, with proof of insurance
Ø Current Child Welfare Certification (*CWCM, CWPI, CWLC or CW provisional) preferred
Ø Drug Screening is required
Ø E-Verify (US Citizenship Verification) is required
Ø Criminal background screening mandatory (Local Law/FBI/FDLE)
