The Liberty Group is looking to immediately hire a talented Leasing Agent for a local apartment community! We’re looking for an energetic sales enthusiast with a passion for Leasing. What you’ll be doing

Leasing Agents are responsible for a high level of communication between the property and prospective/current tenants. A successful Leasing Agent understands they are the catalyst to a resident’s positive perspective of their community.

Responsibilities include:

· Proactively communicating with prospective residents and current residents with a sense of urgency.

· Manage showings, complete application documents, possibly move-in and move-out inspections and other duties as assigned.

· Lease apartments and provide thorough follow-up. Responsibilities may include marketing, documentation verification, and lease signing.

· Schedule new move-ins and provide necessary and accurate information for drafting the lease. Follow company policies to ensure each prospective resident is properly vetted.

· Assist in monitoring renewals, distributing notices, and completing documentation.

· Perform other special assignments as determined by property management.

What you bring

• Minimum 6 months experience in Apartment Leasing, or related field.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be familiar with apartment/multi-family leasing and Fair Housing.
• Bilingual candidates are in high demand!
• Apartment software experience is beneficial.
• Tax Credit/HUD/ MSHDA experience a PLUS!
