Description
Project Manager Salary Range: $78,300.00 - $97,850.00
Exact compensation may vary based on skill, experience and location.
POSITION PURPOSE
Plan, execute, and finalize cross-departmental projects according to deadlines and within budget. Maintains responsibility for managing all project resources to meet business unit and system design specifications, monitoring financials, escalating issues before they impact project deadlines, and delivering successful projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Work with back-office teams and/or Product/Program Managers a to identify type, quantity, and quality of resources required for project implementation.
  • Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
  • Develop full-scale, detailed project plans.
  • Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Provide direction and support to project teams.
  • Develop project communication strategy with stakeholders; establish communication plans.
  • Develop testing plans with business partners.
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of projects to all stakeholders.
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions to management.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  • Provide project evaluations and assessment of results upon project completion.
  • Efficiently identify and solve project issues.
  • Design and maintain project-related documentation.
  • Complete other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Knowledge:
One to four years of direct project management experience. Experience delivering projects for a financial institution. Technical experience preferred.

Required Knowledge:
  • An advanced and adaptive understanding of project management disciplines ranging from Agile to Waterfall methodologies.
  • Accumulated knowledge of Project Management best practices that could be utilized to enhance PMO function across the organization
  • Knowledgeable of Information Technology terminology, disciplines, and common practices.
Experience Required:

EXPERIENCE
5 to 10 years of Project Management experience.
5 years of Project Management experience related to Information Technology projects
5 years of experience delivering projects for Credit Unions or other types of financial institutions.
SKILLS & ABILITIIES
•Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service
•Analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and projects with schedules running over multiple years.
•Ability to function as a team player or independent contributor and the adaptability to switch when required.
