Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic evaluations on patients to assess cardiovascular health and identify abnormalities or conditions.
- Monitor and record vital signs during procedures, including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation levels.
- Conduct sonography procedures to capture images of the heart and blood vessels for diagnostic purposes.
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including preparing equipment, monitoring patients, and documenting findings.
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and accurately document patient information.
- Apply knowledge of physiology to understand the functioning of the cardiovascular system and interpret test results.
- Associate degree or higher
- Cardiovascular Technician (2 years)
- 2 years of experience in ANY of the following: Orthopedic, Endo-Vascular, Surgery - Urological and/or Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) in the state of Michigan (MI)
- Proficient in performing diagnostic evaluations using various cardiovascular testing methods.
- Skilled in accurately measuring and recording vital signs during procedures.
- Experienced in conducting sonography procedures to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Familiar with cardiac catheterization procedures and able to assist during these interventions.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of cardiovascular physiology to interpret test results and provide accurate assessments.
