Business Intelligence Developer (TS/SCI FS Poly)
Job description Insight Xcite is looking for a talented Business Intelligence (BI) developer with excellent project management (PM) and consulting skills to help our clients analyze and visualize operational data to support decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with government clients to identify and gather requirements and analytic needs, integrate data from multiple sources, develop dynamic reports and dashboards, and prepare presentations to inform decision-makers. Responsibilities: • Understand the client’s business objectives and continuously elicit the client’s requirements for data reporting and dashboarding
• Extract data from multiple enterprise data sources, provide technical expertise on data architecture and business analytics/intelligence tools
• Collaborate daily with database administrators, network engineers, application developers, system administrators, financial managers, account managers, and other project managers to create and manage workflows, business rules, and scripts that generate data
• Participate in an agile development methodology for planning, implementing, and delivering business analytics/intelligence capabilities
• Troubleshoot data flows, automate data refresh, optimize report performance, and maintain dynamic reports and dashboards as a service for internal and external mission partners Required Qualifications • U.S. Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope poly.
• Five years of experience in business analytics to include requirements gathering, gap analysis, process improvement, including experience working with multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating among officers with diverse skills and experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of best practices across both commercial and federal sectors as they relate to workflow and process management,
• Demonstrated ability to:
o communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment and convey complex concepts to stakeholders with a range of technical backgrounds.
o adapt to changing project requirements and environment with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
o interpret business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
o estimate the level of effort, develop conceptual designs, and implement BI solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives.
• Three years of experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib developing dynamic reports and dashboards.
• Bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, information technology, or similar quantitative field. Desired Qualifications • Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate
• Proficiency with the full suite of Power BI tools such as Data Analyst Expression (DAX), Power Query (M), Report Server, and Cloud services
• Experience with Git/GitHub for sharing and collaboration
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL
• Experience with Splunk, ServiceNow, data warehouses
• Experience with data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using libraries such as Python pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn
• Experience in scrum and agile frameworks for development to include task management, performing stand-ups and sprint reviews, gathering requirements, and creating documentation
• Master’s degree in a quantitative field
