RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Engineer in Fairfax, VA.
Responsibilities:
* Impact to system configuration
* Impact to system enclosures
* Impact to existing or new system documentation
* Impact to security posture and required RMF package updates
* Estimated cost and schedule for initial design and development efforts
* Estimated material and/or license cost for production shipsets
* Estimated fielding schedule and series of events for production installation and migration
* Comprehensive evaluation of customer requirements and design constraints
* Canvasing and down-selection of available IT industry products and services
* Whitepapers documenting findings, options, recommendations, and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) pricing and schedule for production implementation
* Design, development, and configuration of prototype environments
* Security evaluation, system hardening, and accreditation
* Development, validation, and verification of system documentation
* Grooming and troubleshooting of fielded systems
REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
