The CPA Group, PLLC, has an immediate opening for a seasonal Staff Accountant with experience in public accounting focused in tax services.

Based in Everett, Washington, we have been serving our community in financial and tax services for individuals, businesses, non-for-profit entities, estates and trusts.

We are a small CPA firm dedicated to providing our clients with the excellence they deserve. As a valued employee of the CPA Group, PLLC, you would be joining our team in a collaborative, casual work environment.

Position requirements:

• 2 years of public tax accounting experience
• CPA or EA license in good standing, or have passed all four sections of the Uniform CPA exam
• Energetic, a self-starter, with a positive attitude
• Excellent communication and time-management skills

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of tax returns for individuals
• Work schedule of up to 5 days/week during tax season, September 1st through October 15th, February 1st through April 15th.

Compensation and benefits:

• Hourly compensation $35 - $40 per hour, depending on skills and experience
