The Plastics Inspector/Packer is responsible for inspecting plastic products for quality and defects, as well as packing them for shipment. This role requires keen attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. The inspector/packer ensures that all products meet the company’s quality criteria before they reach customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection:
Inspect plastic products for defects such as cracks, bubbles, discoloration, and other imperfections.
Use visual inspection techniques to ensure products meet quality standards.
Seperate defective products and report findings to the Quality Control Supervisor.
Packing:
Pack inspected products according to packaging specifications and customer requirements.
Ensure that products are packed securely to prevent damage during transit.
Label and document packed products accurately for inventory and shipping purposes.
Quality Control:
Follow detailed inspection procedures and maintain high standards of quality.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and suggest ways to enhance inspection processes.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
