Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description We are actively seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in the Binghamton, NY area to assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of equipment. The ideal candidate in this role will perform a diverse range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. As a maintenance mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following diagrams, reading operation manuals and troubleshooting malfunctions.
Shift 12am - 12pm OR 12pm - 12am 2-2-3 schedule
Pay $25-$35/hr
Hard Skills - Installation, set up, and maintenance of equipment
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings
- Operation of a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- 1 years' experience in industrial maintenance
Soft Skills - Ability to maintain cleanliness, functionality, and safety of equipment and work areas by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations
Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 840 Hour(s).
Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Vestal, New York.
