Next Level Professional is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer. It's an exciting, growth-focused role with a company expanding its footprint in the powertrain electronics industry.

You'll be responsible for leading problem-solving, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, supplier development, scorecard implementation, and negotiations. You will need a good understanding of AIAG Core Tools: APQP, PPAP & Control Plan, FMEA, and SPC/ MSA.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Five plus years of experience in Quality Engineering and manufacturing.
• Experience with Supplier development and customer contacts, continuous improvement, quality assurance, and Six Sigma.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Supplier scorecards and related positive or negative actions/restrictions, such as top supplier awards, reduced 8D management, ppm threshold to start corrective actions, traceability limitations, marking, and audits.
• Partner with Project Managers and New Product Launch to execute Component introduction, PPAP, and safe launch activities to meet project timelines.
