We are seeking part-time/per diem homemaker/companions to join our care team. A homemaker/companion helps individuals with Instrumental Activity of Daily Living (IADLs). This position plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life and promoting independence for individuals who may need assistance with daily tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Light Housekeeping: Performing light cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping. vacuuming, laundry, and tidying up living spaces.
• Companionship: Engaging in conversation, playing games, or accompanying clients on walks or outings to provide social interaction and emotional support
• Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
• Medication reminders: Assist with medication reminders at the prescribed times
• Errands and transportation: Running errands such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions, and providing transportation to appointments or social activities
• Monitoring health and reporting: Observing and reporting any changes in the clients physical or mental condition to supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
• Must have a reliable means of transportation to get to the jobs
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Previous experience cleaning or companionship preferred
• Attention to detail when cleaning
• Ability to follow verbal directions
