Anta Electric, Inc. is currently seeking a Production Planner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan and create Production schedules based on hard orders received from our customers as well as forecasts. Coordinate the flow of work and materials between departments and divisions.

• Enter, review, and acknowledge all customer orders.

• Create, review, update and distribute Production schedules to applicable departments and divisions

• Create daily ship and inspection reports and distribute as applicable

• Provide COO with updates on progress throughout the day

• Work closely with Production/Quality/Shipping to ensure timely movement of material

• Monitor levels of rack inventory to ensure appropriate stock levels

• Create, print and distribute all pick lists and travelers to the Warehouse for completion of kitting operation

• Work closely with Engineering on required documentation needed for Production

• Work with Purchasing on material required to support Production per the schedules created

• Track material shortages and report any roadblocks that will delay Production

• Create and submit Finished Goods report at the end of each month

• Create work orders for customer returned material and track through Quality and Production for resolution

• Interface with customers to provide updates on deliveries including push-outs or pull-ins

• Other Tasks as assigned by the COO

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma Required; Associate's Degree preferred

• 1 years in a Warehousing/Manufacturing environment preferred but not required

• Must be able to work in a team environment

• Strong computer and communication skills

• Strong Excel skills required

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Attention to detail a must

• Previous experience with INFOR and/or planning systems preferred but not required

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment

• Ability to successfully work with multiple departments/divisions in an effort to achieve customer satisfaction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
