We are looking for an IT Co-Op
Plans, directs, and coordinates local area computer systems, network, and help desk activities.
Accountabilities:
1. Performs all necessary housekeeping functions to maintain optimum performance of systems. Remains abreast of changes in users and system software/hardware requirements. Provides users with hardware/software peripherals support.
2. Establishes and maintains network users, user environment, directories, and security for current and future networks. Installs, upgrades, and configures network printing, directory structures, rights, security, and software on file servers.
3. Responds to the needs and questions of users concerning their use of resources on the network, Microsoft Office application software, third party software and our ERP system (CMS), and training as applicable.
4. Responsible for installation and maintenance of network cabling CAT6/7 and Fiber
5. Maintains help desk ticketing queues and routing
6. Maintains label printers and networked MFPs.
7. Maintains and evaluates company cell phones and tablets both iOS and Android
8. Responsible for installing all new workstations and redeploying existing hardware by reinstalling all new software.
9. Performs low level Office 365 administration in coordination with ArcelorMittal global
10. Investigates new technology to keep AMTB up-to-date with the newest techniques to improve our corporate wide communications.
11. Works with Corporate IT group to maintain common platforms and group licensing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Personal Traits:

• Currently enrolled in an Information Technology related undergrad program
• Prior IT Co-Op and/or Internship preferred but not required
• Must be a team player
• Excellent communication and written skills are required
