The Airport Customer Service (ACS) Training Instructor is responsible for designing and conducting training programs in discipline areas in which he or she has specific training and competence. The instructor is expected to plan, organize and teach in a manner that meets Frontier objectives and learner needs. When not instructing, the Instructor will perform training needs assessments, design curriculum and course materials and manage all phases of training interventions.

**Essential Functions**

* Present curriculum in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning

* Provide individualized instruction to students to promote interactive learning

* Develop, design and implement learning activities and course content to enhance retention and transfer of knowledge

* Partner with subject matter experts to conduct training needs assessments and formulate and implement recommendations for learning solutions to ensure target training end results are achieved

* Prepare instructional graphics and finished products to ensure accurate, timely and effective training material is available for facilitation

* Apply instructional design theories, practices and methods to ensure effective adult learning practices

* Maintain course documentation and folders to ensure instruction is completed in a timely and efficient manner and accurate and detailed records are maintained

**Other Functions**

* Analyze post-assessment results to identify and address learning gaps

* Support operational performance of the Learning Management System

* Support Airport Customer Service initiatives, as needed

**Qualifications**

* Bachelors degree in Adult Education and/or Instructional Design, or equivalent education and experience required; Masters degree preferred

* 0 to 2 years of experience in classroom facilitation, instructional design or related role required, minimum 2 years preferred

* Fluent, both written and verbal, in Spanish preferred

* Experience in instructional design and instructional technology preferred

* Knowledge of course development software preferred

* Prior airline experience preferred

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

* Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills

* Must be able travel for extended periods of time and work weekends

* Knowledge of Microsoft Products

* Competency and comprehensive knowledge of Articulate (Storyline), SCORM, Publishing and Adobe Acrobat

* Ability to proofread, strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage and prioritize assignments

* Lesson and curriculum planning skills

* Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard

* Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts

* Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models

**Equipment Operated**

Competency and comprehensive knowledge of PC, fax, scanner, digital camera, video camera, general office equipment, LCD, copy machine and various industry standard printers (ticketing, baggage and telex)

**Work Environment**

Typical classroom environment adequately heated and cooled.

Must be flexible and willing to work long hours to accommodate training needs that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

**Physical Effort**

Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.

**Supervision Received**

General Direction: The incumbent normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments.
