Role details: Contract to Hire position
We are partnered with one of the fastest growing companies in the entire country. The team has created a flexible commercial vehicle rental platform that has empowered one-day projects and entrepreneurs alike! With convenient mobile rental options they have continued to scale and grow their operation.
The team is looking to add a Senior Backend Engineer (Go) to drive development on their back-end technologies. A strong candidate will have passion for developing robust, efficient, and scalable systems. You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally in a rapidly growing fun environment.

- Contract rate: $55/hr - $80/hr

REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years in back-end development with high-traffic applications required
- 3 years experience with micro engineering in Golang required
- Strong understanding of infrastructure; server, network, and hosting required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
- Experience with Postgres, Kubernetes, and GCP preferred
RESPONSIBILITES
- Design robust scalable back-end architecture
- Write clean and efficient code for various portions of the back-end platform
- Design database and ensure data integrity and security
- Implement and maintain security and data measures
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and PMs
