EvacNorth America is currently seeking a dedicated Pump Technician / Maintenance professional for our Cherry Valley IL location.

Noprior experience with centrifugal pumps is required ascomprehensive training will be provided. We offer a competitivehourly rate commensurate with your mechanical background andexperience.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Overhauland test centrifugal pumps and other products including cleaningdisassembly inspection reassembly andtesting.
• Operate equipment during overhaul suchas parts washing machine bead blasting machine lathe jib craneforklift and test stand.
• Createdetailed pump inspection and testreports.
• Perform light maintenance activitieswithin the facility.
• Provide backup support forproduction assembly and inspection.
• Handlemanufacturing orders as assigned by the Operations Manager orOperations Lead.
• Communicate issues andcontinuous improvement ideas withleadership.
• Follow management directives andrequests.
• Attend workshops and trainingsessions as required.
• Travel domestically andinternationally (
• Perform otherduties and activities asassigned.

Requirements :

• Technologydegree or 5 years of related experience in a manufacturingenvironment machine repair centre or facility / generalmaintenance.
• Experience with wiring electricalmotors is a plus but not required.
• Experiencein pump repair / overhaul is a plus but notrequired.
• Ability to operate aforklift.
• Proficiency in reading andinterpreting technical specifications schematics drawings codesstandards and regulations.
• General knowledge ofMS Windows MS Office software Adobe software CAD software andcompany business system software.
• Ability tooccasionally lift and / or move up to 50pounds.
