A high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in a business curriculum.

Minimum two (2) years of experience in a Deposit Operations or related position normally required.

Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the Deposit Services and Electronic Banking functions.

Essential Duties

• Performs a variety of duties to support the operations function of which the following are illustrative:

1. Processes return items, overdrafts and non-posts
2. Processes check adjustments
3. Prepares various notices for mailing
4. Handles various Fedline functions
5. Maintains various account records and miscellaneous information
6. Processes inquiries from customer service personnel, other bank departments as well as bank customers
7. Provides research on signature cards, maintenance, and transactions for all deposit accounts
8. Provides support, maintenance, research and orders for debit and credit cards
9. Processes customer disputes
10. Provides Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and BillPay support
11. Develops and maintains Internet banking customer communication piece
12. Provides back-up support to Treasury Services
13. May back-up in area of Fiserv Premier specifications and security
14. May perform check-back of new accounts and deposit account maintenance
15. Processes government and legal requests (i.e. reclamations, garnishments, levies, subpoenas, etc.)
16. Processes deposit account charge-offs
17. Performs special projects as required

• Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management, overall safety and soundness, and the bank’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.
• Coordinates departmental tasks with coworkers inside and outside the department in order to ensure an efficient process and the completion of essential tasks needing proper segregation of duties.
• Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of sexual harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place.
• Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate bank personnel.
• Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
• Assists in training new department personnel as required.
